Parent Support

We host opportunities for learning, engaging, and socializing for caregivers within the community. Our events are meant to empower parents while building a sense of community.

Follow our Instagram page to stay up-to-date with event dates occurring in Mt. Lebanon!

Events

  • Sip n’ Chat: We read books and take classes to prepare for our child’s arrival during pregnancy, but what about as our child is growing and developing? This is a time to connect with other families, ask questions, and learn about child development with different topics each meeting. Meetings will be a combination of virtual and in-person.

  • Mommy & Me: Join us for a fun event where we will teach you strategies to encourage language development in the home while giving you an opportunity to connect and engage with other parents.

  • Storytime: Through reading an engaging story, we create a multi-sensory learning experience while targeting early literacy skills. We will incorporate baby sign language, songs, and themed vocabulary to engage your little one.

Supports

  • IEP Consultation & Meeting attendance

  • Family/caregiver training: 1:1 training to discuss and increase a targeted skill area
