Caitlyn Zaya, MS, CCC-SLP

Undergraduate: Penn State

Graduate: University of Pittsburgh

Hi! I’m Caitlyn! I am so excited to be joining the Uptown Speech team and to connect with more families in this community!

Work Experience

After graduating from Penn State, I moved back home to the South Hills to complete my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. I have experience working with families and children ages birth through 21 years in the home, school, daycare, and community settings. My areas of expertise include early childhood language development, social emotional learning, and articulation disorders, and I have a strong interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). My therapy approach is functional, family-focused intervention that is built around the client’s specific needs, interests, and motivations. I believe it is important for connection to come first in order to best support development and maximize learning!

A Bit More About Me

I live right here in Mount Lebanon with my husband, Justin, and our two cats, Sammy and Chaplin. We have a lot of laughs thanks to our boys. You can find me reading, embroidery, baking, or finding a local festival to explore!
